X-Y-Z breakout trading strategy

This breakout trading strategy is very simple. It is based on breakout system. With the breakout of support or resistance, market moves rapidly with good amount of pips. So this strategy is profitable. Success rate is also very high. This strategy is made in the direction of the trend. So in trendy market, this trading system gives huge profit.

In this strategy, there are three points X,Y,Z. For breakout a horizontal line is drawn in the Y point. With the breakout of this line, you need to take entry.


How signals come

Buy Signal

X point will at the beginning of the uptrend starting. This movement should be solid trend. Y will be that point when this solid trend face resistance and starts little retracement. This retracement should be limited within 38.2%-50% level. This retracement level will be Z point. You need to draw horizontal line on Y point. When price break this line, this strategy will give buy signal.


Sell Signal

X point will at the beginning of the downtrend starting. This movement should be solid trend. Y will be that point when this solid trend face support and starts little retracement. This retracement should be limited within 38.2%-50% level. This retracement level will be Z point. You need to draw horizontal line on Y point. When price break this line, this strategy will give sell signal.





Currency pairs: Any pairs.


Time Frame: H1, H4, Daily are preferable.


Take profit and stop loss: Take profit for this strategy should be 1:1 risk ratio. You need to set take profit based on your stop loss. Stop loss should be set below the Z point for buy entry and above the Z point for sell entry.


Risk Warning This strategy is only for trendy market. So you can’t use this on ranging zone. You also need to be careful about the breakout. After successful breakout you have to take entry. For following this strategy you should not take more risk for every trade. You must follow money management. You need to use this strategy on demo first before using on live trading.
